Wholeness Awaits

At Woven Heart, we journey in tandem to weave together mind and heart, insight and emotion to bring you back to your natural wholeness.

Edith Bross Johns, LICSW

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I join my clients in the discovery of the hidden treasures found in the world of emotion. As a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFT) trained in Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I work collaboratively with my clients.

As a mental health therapist, I focus on transformation. I follow the model of EFT, backed by scientific evidence and yielding high rates of success when compared to other methodologies. On my professional journey, I have earned three master’s degrees, including an MSW from Boston Universtiy.

I live in Salem, Massachusetts, and practice in Beverly, seeing clients both virtually and in person.

The Meaning

of Woven Heart

A heart made whole through connection

Woven Heart reflects the living, relational nature of being human. Our hearts are not simple or singular—they are woven from experiences, emotions, and bonds with others. In therapy, we make room for both strength and tenderness, allowing new threads of understanding, safety, and connection to emerge.

Welcome!
